Funds raised through Alzheimer's Tea Day support critical services like the Alzheimer's National Helpline
The Longford branch of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland will hold their annual Tea Day in their office on 2 Earl Street, Longford, on Thursday, May 1 from 11am to 2pm. All support will be greatly appreciated.
This year’s campaign, themed “Tea is the Best Time of the Day”, encourages communities to gather, share a cup of tea, and help raise awareness and funds for people living with dementia, as well as their carers and families.
The launch of Alzheimer's Tea Day 2025 was hosted at The Mansion House in Dublin by The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emma Blain, whose term has been marked by a mission to increase dementia awareness, a cause close to her heart as her dad Sydney, is living with dementia.

Alzheimer’s Tea Day brings communities together across Ireland to support The Alzheimer Society of Ireland's vital work, providing much-needed resources and services for the 64,000 individuals living with dementia and their families nationwide. With the number of people diagnosed with dementia expected to double in the next 20 years, the need for support has never been greater.
