The median asking price for a property in the county is now nearly €150,000, according to the latest MyHome.ie Property Price Report.
Asking prices for a three-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by more than €975 during quarter one 2025 and by €10,475 during the past year.

The report also showed Longford was the most affordable county in the country during the first quarter.
Asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €5,000 over the quarter to €145,000.
The asking price for a 4-bed semi-detached house in Longford rose by €7,500 over the quarter to €177,000, up €17,000 since last year.
There were 118 properties for sale in Longford at the end of Q1 2025 – a decrease of 3% during the 12-week period.
