Longford town residents group install life-saving defibrillator at Hanlon's Gala

The Teffia Park Residents Association has installed a public access defibrillator at Hanlon’s Gala, Dublin Road, Longford to enhance community safety. Funded by Paddy Hanlon and Senator Joe Flaherty, this vital device will serve Teffia Park and surrounding area in cardiac emergencies.


Local representatives and emergency personnel praised the initiative, highlighting the importance of community-driven safety measures.

Residents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the defibrillator’s location Beside the store's entrance.
Teffia Residents Association would also like to take this opportunity to thank Laura Shaw, Longford Garden Centre, for donating four trees to replace those damaged in Storm Éowyn.
