Longford Town Football Club has been granted planning permission to erect new floodlights at their Bishopsgate stadium.

Longford Town FC applied to Longford County Council on December 18 last for permission to remove their existing floodlights and to replace same with new lighting columns and attached LED floodlights together with the installation of lighting to service the adjoining car park area and all associated ancillary site works.

Planners approved the plans with six conditions attached.
