MEP Ciaran Mullooly
MEP Mullooly has welcomed the publication of the long-anticipated Vision for Agriculture & Food, acknowledging that it highlights the many challenges facing Ireland’s agri sector.
This comprehensive strategy outlines a roadmap for the EU’s agricultural sector. The Vision recognises agriculture as a strategic sector vital to Europe’s food security and rural development. It also aims to make farming an attractive career for future generations.
While the report contains a range of recommendations, Mullooly commented that "Its success will ultimately depend on the financial and regulatory resources allocated to its implementation."
