The N4 between Longford and Leitrim is closed after a man hospitalised following a collision involving a car and a lorry.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the two vehicle road traffic collision that occurred in Bornacoola at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday evening, February 12.

A Garda spokesperson explained, "The male driver of the car was taken to hospital by ambulance services with what are understood to be serious injuries.
"The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
"The N4 is currently closed in Bornacoola and diversions are in place.
Investigations are ongoing."
