Two Longford men have pleaded not guilty to being in possession of drugs for sale or supply following a Garda search in the county.
Dylan Mears of 1 Richmond Street, Longford town was arraigned at last week's sitting of Longford Circuit Criminal Court and he denied having cannabis for sale or supply at Mullagh, county Longford on July 16, 2023.

The defendant was also arraigned and pleaded not guilty to a charge of being in possession of cannabis on the same date and at the same location.
A co-accused Brendan Doyle of 33 The Mill, Clondra, county Longford was arraigned on identical charges and he also pleaded not guilty.

Judge Kenneth Connolly heard the trial is likely to run for three days.
The pair were remanded on continuing bail to a sitting of Longford Circuit Court before the end of the current court session, which concludes on February 14.
