Storm Éowyn forces rescheduling of North Longford & Arva Credit Union annual general meeting
The annual general meeting of North Longford & Arva Credit Union which was set for Monday, January 27 had to be deferred as much of the region had no power as a result of Storm Éowyn.
It has been re-scheduled for Thursday, February 13 at 7.30pm and will take place via Zoom webinar.
Every member wishing to attend must notify the Credit Union by visiting either of the credit union’s offices in Arva or Drumlish in person, by telephone or by email of their intention to join the virtual AGM.
Every member wishing to join the meeting must email info@arvacreditunion.com and include the following information in the email: Member Name, Member Address Email address or smartphone number to where the link will be sent before close of business on Monday, February 10.
A link to the AGM Zoom webinar will be forwarded to the email address or smartphone phone in time for the meeting. The validity of all requests to join the meeting will be checked before the Zoom invite is sent.
Please note all non-presenting participants will be muted and have their cameras switched off to allow the smooth running of the meeting. However, all participants can type a question to the host by clicking on the “chat” button on the bottom of the screen.

A vote on elections for the position of Auditor, Board Oversight Committee and Board of Directors will take place. The votes will be tallied and verified by the Compliance officer, and recorded by the Credit Union Secretary.
Further details on meeting rules will be issued to the email provided by you prior to the meeting.
