Weather forecast
The weather forecast for Tuesday January 28 is as follows, according to Met Éireann:
It will be breezy with showery outbreaks of rain, followed by sunny spells and scattered showers the afternoon.
Showers will be most frequent across the west and northwest of the country.
Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees along with moderate to fresh and gusty northwest winds, strong in the west and southwest for a time.

Later, it will be dry with clear spells for most but with scattered showers in the west and north, bringing a slight chance of hail or sleet, Met Éireann said.
It will be cloudier in Munster with a little drizzle near coasts.
Frost and some icy patches developing with lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees and winds easing light variable. A few pockets of mist and fog will form also.

On Wednesday 29th January, it will be dry with long spells of sunshine developing, though isolated showers will affect the west and north.
Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in moderate northerly winds, fresh at times in the southwest.
