Gardaí at scene of 'incident' on Dublin Road in Longford town amid safety alert
Emergency services are at the scene of 'an incident' at the Dunnes Stores Shopping Centre on the Dublin Road in Longford town.
It is understood that store staff and customers hurriedly vacated the premises earlier this evening following a public safety message.

A Garda spokesperson outlined, "Gardaí are currently at the scene of an incident on the Dublin Road, in Longford town this evening, Saturday, January 11, 2025.

"As this is an ongoing operation, no further information is available at this time."
