Lidl's Christmas Trolley Dash took place last Saturdayacross the country and managed to raise €314,123 for Family Carers Ireland.
Longford's Lidl saw great sucess during their own Trolley Dash with their winners Mara Grimaundo and Francesco Trotta taking home €260 worth of festive food, setting them up nicely for the festive week to come.
The Dash began in 2014, in 10 years the fundraiser has raised more than €2.5million.

“We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone who participated in and supported this years dashes. I'd like to say a massive well done our 182 lucky Trolley Dash winners who took on the challenge in their ;local stores this past weekend,” said Eimear O'Sullivan, Corporate Affairs Director at Lidl Ireland.
Lidl has committed to raising €1 million in funds over the next three years for Family Carers Ireland.
Trolley Dash is set to give the new partnership a significant boost.
