Congratulations! Longford doctor becomes member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland welcomed a new member from Longford at a ceremony this month.

Dr Francis Beirne from Prospect House, Co Longford became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) at a special ceremony at No. 6 Kildare Street, Dublin.

MRCPI is an internationally recognised benchmark of excellence, valued by healthcare employers worldwide, and is a major milestone on the path to becoming a specialist. They join a global network of close to 13,000 respected physicians whose roots date back to 1654.
