Longford Flower Club Christmas Gala
For all those in Longford with green thumb, don’t miss out on the Longford Flower Club's annual Christmas Gala.
The Gala will be making its return to the Backstage Theatre once again on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
This year will feature the award winning Christopher White demonstrating. Tickets are available on the Backstage Theatres website at €15. The event begins at 8pm and all proceeds will be going to local charities.

Longford's Traditional Christmas Panto
Rapunzel & Billy will be making their way to Longford this Christmas season from Wednesday, December 18 until Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
The Longford Traditional Christmas Panto will be returning once again and shall be held in St Mel’s College in Longford town.
The Panto follows Billy Doolittle (Damien Douglas) and Nanny Nonie (Davy Flaherty) attempt to rescue Princess Rapunzel from the clutches of the wicked Gothel along with appearances from a whole cast of colourful characters such as the egotistical Finn Strider.
Longford Panto has guaranteed that this year's production will be their most hilarious one yet.
Winter Wonderland
Until Friday, 3 January, 2025 Center Parcs Longford Forest will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland.
Visitors will have the chance to visit Santa's woodland village, The enchanted Light garden and might even get the chance to spot Santa as he goes by in his brand new sleigh, make sure to write a letter to him while you're there and maybe even get a magical reply.
Meet the explorer elves throughout the park and get stamps on the Elf Explorer Passport.
Live Choir performances will be held to keep you in the Christmas spirit and at night time little ones can curl up on the couch and watch animated bedtime stories on the tv in your lodge.
