A powerful rally in support of Palestine took place on Sunday 17th November 2024 in Longford Town. Longford Palestine Solidarity Committee organised this event, which was one of a kind protest seen by Longford in recent years. The event saw well over a hundred people from the local community and beyond coming together to show their solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestine, demanding an end to genocide, ethnic cleansing and illegal occupation.
