An emotional Finale to the recent Evolution Stage School 15th anniversary production
Evolution Stage School recently celebrated their 15th Anniversary in Longford with a spectacular production in Backstage Theatre that ran for ten sold out performances.
Students aged 3-25 years showed why this stage school is one of the top performing arts schools in the country with many attendees comparing the performances to those seen on Broadway and the West End.
Many of the students on stage have been with Evolution since it opened in Longford in 2009 with some now working as teaching assistants.
The show content included a wonderful trip 'Through The Years' that looked back at music and dance over the past 100 years and featured Glen Miller, The Andrews Sisters, Elvis, The Beatles, Spice Girls, Coldplay and many more as the singers and dancers took us through every decade.

The musical medley brought us amazing pieces from Ghost The Musical, The Greatest Showman, Beetlejuice, Hairspray, Copacabana and more.
The Matilda scene was a highlight and Conor McLoughlin played the role of Trunchbull brilliantly.
The Tap dance medley was a tribute to Rock legends including Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses and Thin Lizzy.
It was an emotional week for everyone involved and this was very evident in the Finale song which was especially written for the 15th Anniversary by senior student Aishling Farrell.

The song called 'Someday' included a video tribute for the stage school owners Paul Hennessy and Tracey Carty.
No rest for many of the Evolution students as they were straight into Panto rehearsals for the upcoming production of Rapunzel & Billy in St Mel's College from Dec 18th.
Paul and Tracey would like to thank everyone for their incredible loyalty and support over the past fifteen years and they are so proud of every star who attends their classes.
