Newly built Outpatient Department at the Regional Hospital Mullingar opens today

The new Regional Hospital Mullingar Outpatient Department

Regional Hospital Mullingar will open a newly built Outpatient Department on Monday, November 4.

This purpose-built facility, located opposite the main hospital entrance, is designed exclusively for Outpatient Services. This new development aims to enhance patient flow and improve overall service capacity at the hospital.

The new Outpatient Department features a designated drop-off area for patients, while parking will be available in the existing car park, with the ticket machine located at the main entrance.

Outpatient appointments will be carried out in the new Outpatient Department from November 4.

Niamh Reeder, Interim Hospital Manager, Regional Hospital Mullingar said, “We are delighted to open our newly built Outpatient Department in Regional Hospital Mullingar. It is a great development that will enhance the patient experience and improve efficiencies for every individual receiving care in our Hospital. I would like to thank all of the staff that have helped this project come to fruition, it is a great achievement for all involved. Service users attending will receive details in appointment letters issued by the Hospital and can ask a member of staff for directions on site if needed.”
