Farrell Clan to hold AGM in Longford Arms Hotel

Longford Arms Hotel

Longford has been the ancestral home of The Farrell Clan for over 1,000 years. Since the modern-day Farrell Clan was re-established in 1991, we have hosted nine International Farrell Clan Rallies and welcomed thousands of Farrell visitors to the county.

On Sunday November 10th, 2024, we will host our AGM in The Longford Arms Hotel commencing at 3.30pm. We cordially invite Farrells from county Longford and all over Ireland to join us on the day. This is a significant meeting as we continue our preparations for our next Rally in 2026.

Our Chieftain, Connie will hand on the Baton of Chieftain to his daughter Charlotte at that Rally.

We understand that it may be difficult to make a commitment to attend monthly meetings, but we would appreciate your support and your suggestions for what will be a very important Rally for The Farrell Clan.

For those of you who would like to join us for Sunday lunch at 2pm, prior to the AGM, please confirm your attendance to secretary@farrellclan.ie by Monday Nov 4th.

2024 has been a memorable year for The Farrell Clan. In April, our Clan Chieftain, was honoured by The Clans of Ireland when they bestowed the Order of Merit Award on him; we hosted our first International Webinar which was a tremendous success; our International Ambassador Programme continued to grow with three new Ambassadors joining the programme, the most recent being Montserrat Farell who will represent the Clan in the Catalonian region of Spain.

We had a record number of Farrell visitors to the county in 2024 from places as diverse as Tasmania in the South to Vancouver in the North, and from Glascow to Costa Rica. This week we welcome visitors from Missouri, Ohio and Florida to Longford.
