Longford's Eamonn Brennan launches new quiz book

Co-author Eamonn Brennan, Brian McAvoy CEO Ulster GAA, Jarlath Burns Uachtarán Cumann Luthchleas Gael and Liam Rabbitte co-author

The adage “fail to prepare, prepare to fail” is one readers of Tráth na gCeist will be familiar with.

The book is a primer for anyone participating in any Irish quiz, but will be of particular interest to GAA clubs getting ready for Scór na nÓg finals.

“If your club is looking for a way to help prepare for the Tráth na gCeist then look no further,” Eamonn Brennan one of the two men behind the publication said.

The aim of the book is to assist people who are thinking of participating in quizzes and in particular Scór Tráth na gCeist. The questions are graded and balanced on each page. The book is ideal for Scór practice whether you are a beginner or a regular competitor.

Eamonn and Liam Rabbitte launched the publication in The INEC, Gleneagles, Killarney, Kerry. Eamonn and Liam are regular quiz setters on the quiz circuit.

The book was launched by Paula Magee Cathaoirleach of Scór Naisiunta prior to the Final of Scór Sinsir in Killarney.

It is hoped that a copy of this quiz book will reside in every GAA club in the country and will bring enjoyment to all who use it.
