Mullinalaghta Tractor Run
Despite the mediocre weather conditions, the Mullinalaghta Vintage Club’s annual Tractor Run attracted the usual large crowd on Sunday with over 120 tractors of various eras as well as some two-wheeled vehicles taking part.
A large crowd of spectators were also in attendance at the Community Centre for the start at noon, with the veterans leading the way as the cavalcade proceeded around the lough, going through Gowna and stopping in Aughnacliffe for refreshments before returning to base.

A large sum of money was raised for the new defibrillator at The Hideaway with the balance going to the Irish Heart Foundation.
Many thanks to all those who participated and donated, as well as to the efficient volunteers in the hall who organised registration and food and drink for the large attendance, and all the committee members who helped put the event in place and acted as stewards on the day.
