Edgeworthstown and Granard experience power disruptions

Power outages in Longford

ESB Networks have received reports of a number of outages in County Longford in the wake of Storm Ashley. The electricity network provider are working on restoring power in near Granard and in Edgeworthstown.

Faults in Edgeworthstown were reported at 19:40 yesterday (20/10/2024) and 8:00 today.

The estimated restore time is 14:o0 today. There are 51 customers are affected by the first disruption, and 37 by the second.

The fault near Granard referenced by ESB networks was reported at 15:30 yesterday (20/10/2024) and the estimated restore time is 18:00 today. There are 29 customers are affected.

ESB Networks have apologised for the loss of supply. They are currently working to repair a fault affecting premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.
