A man and a woman, in their 20s, are due in court this morning after being charged in connection with a violent disorder incident in county Longford
The pair are scheduled to appear before Athlone District Court this morning.
Gardaí said searches were carried out at three residential properties and three people were subsequently arrested in relation to an alleged incident of violent disorder in Deanscurragh on Thursday.

A Garda spokesman said the trio were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in the North Western Region.
Gardaí said a male and a female (both aged in their 20s) were subsequently charged, while a second woman, also in her 20s, was charged and is due to appear before Longford District Court at a later date.
