Longford Gardaí arrest uninsured driver who was dangerously speeding and failed roadside drugs test

Driver arrested, charged and brought before Longford District Court

Longford Gardaí arrested an uninsured driver who was dangerously speeding and also failed  a roadside drugs test.

Longford Roads Policing Unit received reports of a vehicle being driven dangerously.

The vehicle was subsequently observed travelling in excess of 180km/h.

The driver when stopped failed an oral fluid test for drugs and also had no insurance.

Gardaí seized the vehicle.
