Uisce Eireann has reported an upcoming water disruption in the Lanesboro area, as works are set to affect supply in the coming days.
Locals have been alerted that a planned power outage may cause supply disruptions to Lanesboro and surrounding areas in Longford.
Works are scheduled to take place tonight in Lanesboro from 10pm to 4am, and from 9am until 6:30pm on October 12th.
These works are part of the National Leakage reduction programme, and may cuase disruptions to water and power supply to the area. The work may also cause some minor traffic delays.
It is recommended that locals allow up to 4 hours after the estimated restoration time for their supply to fully return.
Updates will be issued on the Uisce Éireann website.
