Work commences on 50 home development in Longford

Works have commenced on a major housing development in Edgeworthstown last week.
The National Building Control and Market Surveillance Office have indicated that the development at Bracklin Road, Edgeworthstown, Longford has started.


In September of last year An Bord Plenaile granted permission for the proposed development. The permission is for the demolition of an existing building on site, and the construction of 48 houses and associated site works.


The permission covering the development at Bloomfield Park, Bracklin Road, Edgeworthstown, Longford, is for 48 houses and 50 duplex units. John McCarthy was granted permission at the end of last year.
