Following the successful launch of TuesGays LGBTQ+ social group in Longford with the “However You Roll” board game night last month, the Spooktober season will kick off early with the next event for LGBTQ+ and ally community, a movie night for horror buffs.

“TuesGays' Horror Movie Double Bill” will be taking place in Edward J Valentine’s Bar, on Tuesday, October 1 from 7pm.

You can forget the garlic for this fangtastic twin feature, pairing the moody Neil Jordan classic “Interview With The Vampire”, and the incredibly stylish 1983 masterpiece “The Hunger”, starring Catherine Deneuve, Susan Sarandon, and none other than David Bowie.

Everybody’s welcome (and feel free to bring your own spooky wardrobe and accessories!) but be sure to wrap up warm, as this event will take place in the outdoor Green Room area.

There will be a small cover charge of €5 towards costs and licensing, and do please note this is strictly an 18+ occasion.

The first Tuesday of every month will feature a different event or activity, so make sure to keep an eye out for what's coming up next!
