Top line-up of keynote speakers to address major Longford Community Health & Awareness Day

Event in aid of Longford Counselling Services and Pieta, is taking place on Saturday, September 28 from 11am – 3pm in Longford Athletics Club

A major Community Health & Awareness Day, in aid of Longford Counselling Services and Pieta, is taking place on Saturday, September 28 from 11am – 3pm in Longford Athletics Club.


Organised by Kiernan Steel, the event is in memory of Andrew Jackson and there will be markets, food stalls and a kids sports area.

The event will feature segments men's health, women's health, teen health, kids and active age.


MCs on the day are Jimmy Jests (Jimmy Connell) and Sammy Lucky Day.


While the keynote speakers include Josh Deegan (Mental Health in Teens); Dr Marie Finn (Menopause); Cormac Noonan (Wolf Academy / Teen Resilience); Aoife Harvey (Pelvic Health); Ger O'Brien (Mental Health Resilience); Rachel Crowder (Gut Health / Nutrition) and Gerry Duffy. There will be guest appearances from Protein Bor, Longford Olympian Darragh Greene and Adam Kelly of 2 Big Lugs.
