The Longford Drugs Unit An Garda Síochána have hit drug dealers in Longford for the second time this week when a raid uncovered over €9,000 in drugs.
The local based drugs unit carried out searches in the Richmond Street area of Longford this week.
During the course of the search a quantity of cocaine with a value of €7,000 and cannabis with an approx street value of €2,200 was seized.
The Garda Síochána Longford Facebook page informed the public about the raid and included an image of the drugs seized in the raid.
The local Gardaí say that the investigation into this seizure are ongoing.
