Uisce Eireann have indicated that work on the water network in the Edgeworthstown area will cause disruption in supply in the early hours of Friday morning.
It is anticipated that the works being undertaken may also cause traffic disruptions at the time.
The Irish water utility company say that as part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, leak detection works may cause supply disruptions to Whitehall and surrounding areas in Longford.
The works are scheduled to take place from 1:00am until 5:00am on Friday, August 30.
The statement from Uisce Eireann says: “We recommend that you allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.”
