Lisa is a single mother of three young children, the donations page says their lives “have been turned upside down due to this horrific accident”.
The page says: “She has a long road ahead of her with months of treatment and more surgeries before she is able to commence rehabilitation.
“Lisa has always been the one helping others. Her passion and love for sports both as a player and coach has led her to work with all age groups in both Longford RFC and at Leinster level. Lisa also is a very well known community support worker, helping local service users from both St Christopher's & The Muiriosa Foundation.
“She has served as an advocate for many young people over the years, standing up for them at every corner and encouraging them to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.”

Her friends have put out the call for assistance saying: “Lisa is the one who always has a smile on her face, her cheeky laugh would light up a room, anyone who has met Lisa will know she is an incredibly strong, proud lady who very rarely asks for help, however this is one battle she cannot do alone and needs your support.”
