A motorcyclist in his 30's has died following an overnight crash in county Longford.
Gardaí are currently at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision that occured at Kilnashee, Drumlish in the early hours of this morning Saturday, August 10, 2024.
At approximately 1.15am Gardaí were alerted to a single vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist. The driver of the motorcycle, a male aged in his 30s, was fatally injured during the collision.
The R198, Longford to Drumlish road, remains closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination of the scene. Diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
