An Bord Pleanala to adjudicate on plans for proposed Longford housing development

A planning application for a 10 home development in Kenagh approved by Longford County Council planners has been referred to An Bord Pleanála.

Earlier this year John and Sandra Conlon were granted permission for the development at Mosstown, Kenagh, Longford.
The application relates to the proposed construction of a residential development of 10 dwelling houses.
The properties will consist of eight two-bedroom two-storey terraced dwellings and two three-bedroom two-storey semi-detached dwellings.

Also included in the plans are provisions for the proposed entrance and access from the adjoining residential estate known as “Deerpark”, the boundary fences and walls, a green open space.

The planning application covers the proposed connections to the existing sewer, surface water and watermain networks and all ancillary site works.

There were eight submissions on the file, two from Irish Water, and the remaining from private individuals.
The decision comes with 13 conditions attached.
The local authority indicated that the matter has been referred to An Bord Pleanála. The case is scheduled to be concluded in November of this year.
