Longford love match! Memorable weekend as Gary marries love of his life Sarah and masterminds Cashel victory

It was a memorable weekend for Gary Kenny as he married the love of his life Sarah Connaughton and he also masterminded Cashel's opening round victory in the Longford intermediate football championship. 

Cashel GAA posted on their social media platform: "Not a bad weekend at all for the gaffer!"

"Everyone at Cashel GAA would like to wish former player and current manager Gary Kenny and his gorgeous wife Sarah a massive congratulations on their wedding day. Wishing you guys all the happiness in the world."

Gary, who is Deputy Principal at Mercy Secondary School, Ballymahon, is this year managing Cashel who opened their Longford intermediate football championship campaign in McGann Park, Kenagh on Friday evening with a 0-12 to 0-9 victory over Ardagh Moydow.
One of the highlights of the hour was a vital penalty save by vigilant Cashel 'keeper Conor Skelly in the final quarter of the contest.
