Longford planners to run the rule over Granard telecommunications mast proposal

Towercom Ltd have submitted a planning application with Longford County Council for the construction of a telecommunications infrastructure at the Eir Exchange, Barrack Lane, Granard. 

This will consist of a 21 metre monopole (22.5 metre overall structure height to top of lightning finials) and carrying antennas.

It is also proposed that there would be dishes and associated equipment, together with new ground level equipment cabinets, new fencing, temporary construction access and all associated site works.

The proposal also includes the removal of an existing telecommunications rooftop support structure and replacement of existing operators equipment.

The application was received on June 25. A decision is due on August 19.

Submissions are to be made by July 29.
