The Olde Fair Day will take place in Ballinamuck on Sunday 14th July, with lots of activities taking place across the weekend.

After years of lockdowns, postponements and weather issues, the Ballinamuck Olde Fair Day is finally set to return this weekend.

The festival will take place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, and organisers are looking forward to welcoming a large crowd to the village for the first Olde Fair Day since 2019.

The packed out family fun weekend will cater to everyone, with a dog show, puppet show, jiving competition, under-10 blitz and more taking place across Saturday and Sunday.

A boxty-making demo will kick things off on Saturday at Johnny's Cottage at 3pm. Sunday will play host to a vintage parade from Gaigue Cross to the '98 Bar, with proceedings commencing at 1pm.

Attendants will be spoiled for entertainment, as Nite Fever will be porviding the tunes, with live music on Sunday from 2pm until 4pm. Special guest and talented singer Brid Shaughnessy will also be providing some lovely music, as will DJ Pete Masterson.

The Ballinamuck Irish Countrywomen's Association will be setting up shop at the fair, as well as Michelle Shaughnessy with her beautiful Highland Cattle.

A special game of Cow Bingo will be played, where attendants will have the chance to win big prizes, 300 euro, a load of turf or a load of sticks.

The weekend in Ballinamuck is not one to be missed! For a great day out, Ballinamuck Olde Fair Day is the place to be on Sunday, July 14.
