Longford Taekwondo duo savour European championship success

Cho's Taekwondo Aughnacliffe attended the WKO European Championships in Barnsley, England last weekend.

Two students participated and they both displayed great talent and respect inside and outside of the ring.

Hollie Smith and Ella Kennedy entered into the light contact division and Points fighting division, bringing home 1 Gold and 3 silver medals.

These results for Aughnacliffe are amazing especially when Cho's Taekwondo Aughnacliffe has only been open two years.

Hollie and Ella were among six other competitors who represented Ireland at the weekend and in total we brought home 6 gold, 8 silver and 4 Bronze.

Cho's Taekwondo Aughnacliffe go back to training to keep working hard getting ready for their next colour belt testing and then to prepare for the World Championships in August where we hope to have a few more students take part.

Congratulations to everyone who took part. They are a credit to Cho's Taekwondo Aughnacliffe.
