Gardaí have renewed an appeal to find Peter Bohan, who has been missing from his home for six days

Have you seen Peter? Family of missing Longford man concerned for his welfare

The family of an elderly man missing for almost a week are concerned for his welfare.  

Gardaí are renewing their appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 79-year-old Peter Bohan from Co Longford, who was last seen on Sunday May 12. 

He is described as being approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim build, brown/grey hair and blue eyes. 

When last seen, Peter was wearing a blue knitted jumper, dark trousers and a dark baseball cap with a red peak.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have observed Peter walking in the vicinity of his home in Cloonellan and Drumlish on May 12 to contact them. 

Anyone with any information on Peter's whereabouts is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on 043 335 0570, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
