A Kenagh hair salon won out in the prestigious Hi Style Passoa Hair and Beauty Awards 2024. The awards, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork on Sunday (March 24), recognise excellence, innovation, and dedication across various categories, showcasing the best in the industry.
David Keenan, the owner of The Hair Doc hair salon in Kenagh, was the recipient of an award for the Best Emerging New Business.
This is the second time David has been recognised at the Hi Style awards, having clinched the Best New Business in 2022.
David has been the recipient of a number of awards in the hairdressing industry since opening.

In their summation of the awards the organisers said: “After careful consideration and deliberation by our esteemed panel of industry experts, we are excited to recognise and celebrate the outstanding talents within the hair and beauty community.”
The evening of glamour and celebration honoured the achievements of exceptional individuals and establishments who set standards of excellence in the world of hair and beauty.
