Longford teaching graduate is 'top of her class' at awards ceremony

IN A CELEBRATION of academic excellence, Ciara McKenny, a dedicated Post-Primary Education graduate and teacher at St Mel’s College in Longford, soared to the 'top of her class' at the Hibernia College conferring ceremony.

Ciara McKenny not only secured her Masters qualification but also clinched the prestigious accolade for Outstanding Performance in School Experience and Professional Practice.

This dual achievement is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the field of education and her exceptional skills as a teacher.

Held at Dublin’s Convention Centre, the annual Hibernia College conferring ceremony witnessed a remarkable milestone this year, with Ciara standing out among over 1,190 graduates from all 26 counties in Ireland.

The ceremony marked the culmination of their rigorous training in Primary and Post-Primary teaching, Inclusive and Special Education, and Data Analytics.
