'Imagine a mother pushing a baby in a buggy' - Dog fouling an issue in Arva

Dog fouling has been identified as a growing issue in a Cavan town. 

The Arva community highlighted the issue to the Longford Leader, describing "dirtied" paths over the past couple of weeks. 

Locals stated: "Once again we have been asked to bring to the attention of dog owners that it is an offence not to clean up after your dog.

"Please, please do clean up if your dog does his business on the footpath. Imagine a mother pushing a baby in a buggy and they get home and have to clean the entire buggy."
