Knights and Conquests Heritage Centre manager, Déirdre Orme stated;
"It was a very special night for Granard as we welcomed our Twinning Partners from East Rouen. It's our chance to shine and share our culture with our French friends. It's a great community of people that have made this possible.
“It's a year in the planning by the dedicated group of volunteers who head up the French Twinning committee.
“There was a call out for volunteers and hosts and there was a huge response, which speaks volumes of the great community spirit.
“Knights and Conquests are delighted to partner with Longford Arts Office to be a venue for Culture Night and in turn host the welcoming night for our French Twinning Partners. Thanks to everyone who made it possible."
