Just a matter of weeks on from its hugely successful All Star Karaoke night in PVS, Longford Variety Group are busily preparing for their next major showstopping affair-Night Fever.

Backstage Theatre will be the venue over the course of three nights in November for an occasion that’s not to be missed.

All proceeds once again will be set aside for Longford Hospice Homecare and other local charities.

Rehearsals for the upcoming shows take place on Tuesday, September 5 at 8pm in St Christopher’s Sylvia Dawson Hall.
All members are very welcome with this year’s show being dedicated to the late Ayshea Ryan.

The show itself will feature songs from musicals such as ‘Sunshine on Leith’, ‘Our House Madness Medley’, ‘Grease’, ‘Beauty and the Beast, ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and ‘Mama Mia’ to mention just a few.

Once again, this year’s show will be choreographed by Penny Barry with John Kelly occupying the role of comedy director.

Production team is Charlie Murray, Maggie Walsh and Kevin Hussey with set design team being Killian and Gerry Reid.
