Longford County Council have announced that the N63 Athlone to Longford Road at the railway bridge on the outskirts of Longford town will close for two weeks later this month.
This is in order is to facilitate maintenance works on the railway bridge which will take place from November 26th to December 7th.
Traffic will be diverted via the N5 Townspark Industrial Estate and the N63 Flancare Industrial Park.
Signage will be in place to assist motorists.
