As reported last week, the very sad passing of Eamon Maguire Edgeworthstown formally of Rathowen took place recently. Eamon was very popular among his neighbours and friends, he led a very easy going life and was always on hand to help his neighbours. This was proven by the very large congregation which turned out for his funeral. At the end of his mass Eamon's nephew Shane Maguire paid tribute to his Uncle with memories of his childhood in Rathowen, this brought a smile to the faces of his family as the were very fond memories. Sincere sympathies are extended to Bridget, Martin, Declan and Emer, and also to Eamon's Grandchildren and his brother in law Thomas and sister in law Ann, who showed great strength to her sister and the Maguire family during Eamon's illness. To all of Eamon's brothers and sisters and extended family we extend our sympathy.
