Longford's public have been urged to get behind Daffodil Day which takes place tomorrow.
Longford Fine Gael Senator Micheal Carrigy was joined by Longford-Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy and Averil Power, chief executive of the Irish Cancer Society in Leinster House yesterday to highlight the annual fundraiser.
"I am calling on the people of Longford to support the day and wear their daffodil as all monies raised goes to support cancer patients," said Senator Carrrigy.
