Mr Costello confirmed that he spoke with close family members of the deceased on Monday afternoon to express both his and the school's condolences. He also confirmed that counselling services were offered to students by the National Educational Psychological Services (NEPS) in conjunction with local HSE officers during the earlier part of the week.
