There was a celebratory air and a buzz of excitement in the Longford Arms Hotel last Friday evening as the county's dedicated volunteers and committed sportspeople were honoured at the 2022 Longford Leader Sports Star Awards, in association with Longford Sports Partnership. It was the first gala awards ceremony since 2019 and it proved to be a memorable affair as Cian McPhillips was named as the Overall Sports Star of the Year. Congratulations to all the award winners, thanks to the award sponsors and to everyone that attended on the night.
