The Midlands Sustainability & Biodiversity Network is organising a free workshop for Tidy Towns groups and Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC’s) in St Mary’s Hall, Lanesborough, on Saturday, September 20 from 9.30am to 1pm. The workshop will include details of the Tidy Town’s Biodiversity and Sustainability adjudication categories and visits to local sites and projects.

The Midlands Sustainability & Biodiversity Network is a grouping of community organisations with a common interest in Sustainability and Biodiversity. The Network is funded by The Wheel’s Training Links programme. Led by the EDI Centre in Longford, the Network includes Tidy Towns groups and Sustainable Energy Communities in Laois, Longford, Offaly, Roscommon, and Westmeath.

The workshop in Lanesborough will be delivered by APEM Group Woodrow - Environmental Consultants and SEAI Community Mentors in association with Longford County Council, Ballyleague Tidy Towns, Lanesborough Tidy Towns, and Longford Renewable Energy SEC.
