This stunning environmental portraiture was captured by Brigid Mullooly during the recent cold spell.
It's of local man Dan Kavanagh from The Green in Lanesboro arriving to feed the fowl at the Duck Pond on the banks of the Shannon and they were delighted to see him.
The essence of environmental portraiture is to capture the subject in the context of their surroundings and eagle eyed Brigid certainly achieved.
