Longford County Council and Longford Tourism, in conjunction with Ballymahon business Wilder & Gold, has announced the launch of ‘The Longford Hamper’.
Filled with products all made within County Longford, the hamper is available to purchase online and in-store from Wilder & Gold in Ballymahon.
Well-presented, the hamper provides a ‘Taste of Longford’ for visitors, as well as the perfect present for local people wishing to celebrate their home county.
It makes an ideal corporate gift for companies also wishing to celebrate Longford-based businesses with their employees and other stakeholders.
All goods within the hamper are also non-perishable, making it a great gift for sending to people living abroad who have a connection to Longford.
The Longford Hamper is now on sale on wilderandgold.com, as well as in-store in the independent home living retailer and cafe. Wilder & Gold also sell all the products in the hamper individually, as well as fresh and locally-sourced food products and great gifts, including candles, books, children’s clothes, and health and beauty products.

The hamper will be on display in Longford Tourism Office for the duration of the competition. For more on the competition, check out Longford Tourism’s Facebook page.
Longford County Council Tourism Officer Dympna Reilly talked about the importance of this new hamper for promoting Longford businesses. “It is great to partner with Wilder & Gold, a fantastic local business, to create this unique and bespoke product celebrating and showcasing Longford-based companies and products. We also thank Mary Fleming and Rusty Lemon Design for the creation of the Longford Hamper logo. It will be great to see Longford people and visitors purchasing their Longford Hamper. ”
