Longford motorists will be delighted and relieved to learn that work is due to commence today (Wednesday, March 9) on resolving issues with the traffic lights at the junction of Main Street and Richmond Street in the heart of Longford town.
Longford County Council has advised that there are a number of issues with the traffic lights which need to be addressed and the works will take a number of days.
The repairs will commence on Wednesday, March 9 and are expected to be completed on Wednesday, March 16.
A statement concluded, “Longford County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and are doing everything possible to resolve the issues as soon as possible.”
